At a time when Catholic schools can no longer rely on a common, institutional understanding of their advantages ("here comes everyone"), leaders must show and tell what we know from our own experiences and that of our students -- that Catholic education is an advantage for life.

The question  'Who earned the first interscholastic athletic victory in JPII history?' was answered Monday afternoon as the JPII Lions JV Golf team defeated the Sturgis Storm in an abbreviated match at Hyannis Golf Club. Team totals: Lions 198, Storm 209.

For the Lion golfers, that didn't take long -- earning a victory in their second match of the season, having faced Dennis-Yarmouth the previous week. Moreover, the win energized students in morning prayer on Tuesday (normally a staid affair) and gives all JPII athletes something to build on. Great job, boys!
